Try the sample chat
New accounts start with a ready-made chat labelled Sample, built on the Sharly AI technical note. It comes with a summary and three suggested questions, so you can see how Sharly answers with citations before uploading your own files. The sample doesn’t count toward your uploads.Upload documents
Click New Chat in the sidebar and drag a file in, or add files to your Library to use later. Supported formats include PDF, Word, PowerPoint, Notion exports, and more. You can also paste a web link, an arXiv ID or a DOI.Ask your first question
Once a document is uploaded, type a question in the chat box (e.g., “Summarize this in 5 bullet points”). Sharly will respond with an answer backed by citations from your file. This makes it easy to move from raw content to trusted insights in seconds.View summaries

Under Settings → Prompt Library, you can create, edit, and organize reusable prompts to speed up your research workflow. Built-in prompts come pre-loaded and cover common tasks:- Summarize — Generate a concise summary of the document.

- Enhance — Expand on ideas with more detail.
